Job Description
The Engineering Trainee is responsible for safely assisting in operating plant and
equipment, monitoring and controlling the plastic recycling process to produce a
consistent product of the right quality at optimum cost.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance Manage waste and cost Carry
out cleaning and ensure good housekeeping at work place
Participate in troubleshooting and problem solving Optimize production
performance and processes Maintain, repair and optimise machine and associated
devices Perform administration Facilitate team problem solving and decision
making
Maintain a safe and healthy working environment Prepare plant and equipment for
start up Assure quality of inputs Initiate corrective action Contribute to self and
team development Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
Must have a minimum 1 years’work experience in engineering, preferably in a
