Manager – Supply Chain
Department: Operations and Management
Reports to: Director Operations and Management

Your Contribution
Working in a team consisting of procurement, fleet and logistics and warehouse specialists in PSI Uganda office in Kampala and warehouse in Kawempe, with remote support to PSI field offices in Lira, Mbale, Moarara and Kampala. You will be responsible for the overall SCM operations at PS1. You will:

Strategy: Develop, review and monitor implementation of policies, systems and tools pertaining to SCM to ensure that PSI obtains quality products and services in a timely, value- for-money and cost-effective manner;

Planning and Quality Assurance: Develop and track the SCM Performance Operational Management Plan (POMP) to achieve PSI set goals within the departmental budget allocated

Operations: Coordinate the requisite departments at PSI to ensure that the purchasing of all inputs and production scheduling of PSI Uganda products are aligned to meet the actual demand from the field in a timely manner.

People Management: Monitor and provide regular feedback to the SCM team to aid their professional development, performance and build a culture that has a high sense of urgency, commitment to value-added services and a sense of accountability.

Risk Management: Identify, register and monitor high-risk areas within SCM to mitigate financial, operational and reputational risks.

Academic Qualifications
- You have an Bachelors degree in Business Administration or related field; - Advanced Degree or CIPS an added advantage; - Seven (7) years of management experience, with at least 3 years in Supply Chain Management; - Previous experience with a donor funded procurement or non-governmental organization is preferred. Key Competences - Good analytical and planning skills to establish supply requirements.
