JOB DETAILS:
The Mount Elgon Tree Growing Enterprise Ltd (METGE) wishes to recruit a Project Officer to support tree planting activities. METGE supports rural communities to mitigate the effects of climate change and to alleviate poverty through the planting of trees and other related activities, such as bee-keeping.
The successful candidate will have a degree in forestry, agriculture or other related natural science disciplines and will have outstanding written and oral skills in English. Based in Mbale, the person will be responsible for implementing the annual plan through a network of partners, monitoring tree planting and reporting on performance.
