AIRD Uganda is non-governmental, non-political, non-religious and non-profit making organization with the main aim of protecting and seeking durable solutions for Refugees and IDP's in Africa in partnership with UNHCR the UN refugee agency.

AIRD is seeking for qualified personnel to fill the position listed below;

Job Title: 3 Program Assistant
Location: Rhino Camp, Palorinya and Lamwo
Report to: Sub Office Manager
Responsible for: Assist in Coordinating NRO Program activities

Job Summary:
Under the supervision of the Sub Office Manager, the Program Assistant will be responsible for providing project and operational support to the Management of Logistics and Supply, Shelter and Infrastructure Project for West Nile Refugee Operation.

Job Qualifications:

• A University Degree in Development Studies, Social Sciences or any other related degree
•  Minimum 2 years of relevant program and/or administrative experience is required
• Excellent knowledge of Project Management and Support is required
• Experience in the use of computers and office software packages (MS Word, Excel, etc.) and knowledge of Spread Sheet and database packages
