intrahealth international (www.lntrahealth.Org) is currently seeking candidates for a new project funded by usaid. Rhites-e will support the government of uganda (gou) and key stakeholders to increase availability and utilization of high quality health services in 21 districts in eastern uganda and 2 in karamoja by strengthening health systems and improving the quality of, access to, and demand for health services with attention to equity and underserved populations. All positions are located in mbale, unless otherwise noted.

4 Health System Strengthening (HSS) & QI Cluster Team Lead

The hss & qi cluster leads will each be responsible for one cluster of districts and the interdisciplinary staff assigned to work on that cluster team. He/she will lead the management and coordination and of all cluster team staff in the technical and administrative functions in the target cluster districts.
Requirements: minimum masters degree in public health, medical degree, nursing, international development or related field, 10+ Years of relevant professional experience managing and ‘ implementing hiv service delivery programs. 5+ Years demonstrated experience in managing and supervising a team and project design. Proven technical knowledge and/or clinical expertise in HIV and aids/fp/mch services and understanding of hss and qi.
