lntraHealth international ( www.intrahealth.org ) is currently seeking candidates for a new project funded by USAID. USAID Regional Health Integration to Enhance Services in Easterh‘ Uganda (RHITES-E) will of Uganda (GOU) and key stakeholders to increase availability and utilization of high quality health services in 21 districts in Eastern Uganda and 2 in Karamoja. This will be done by strengthening health systems and improving the quality of, access to, and demand for health services with attention to equity and undeserved populations. All positions are located in Mbale, unless otherwise noted.

Director, Financial Management and Operations
The Director, Financial Management and Operations is a key member of the project leadership team, providing fiscal leadership in the implementation ofthe project, and ensuring the project can effectively and responsibly use USAID resources to meet project goals. S/he is responsible for the financial systems of the project, including project budgeting, financial monitoring, ‘meeting legal, auditing and contractual responsibilities, and coordinating with state financial officers. S/he will be the principal financial representative of the project as well as coordinate the financial and administrative and HR functions. S/he will manage all procurement and contracts/subcontract administration activities and assure compliance with organizational and donor policies. S/he will implement fraud mitigation practices and ensure systems and processes are implemented effectively to support implementation of the award.

Requirements: Masters Degree orhigher in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or other relevant field. Professional qualification in CPA or ACCA. Minimum ten years experience in administrative and financial management of large-scale, complex, international projects including experience in the fiscal management of USG projects with a strong preference for USAID contracts and cooperative agreements. Proficiency in relevant computer applications and databases.
