Joint Clinical Research Centre (JCRC) is a not for profit limited liability company which was established in 1991 by a collaborative effort of the Ministries of Health, Defence and Makerere University College of Health Sciences. it was established to address the very serious problem of HIV/AIDS at the time. JCRC's core activities include Medical Research, Training and Provision of Health Care Services. Two vacancies at JCRC exist for well qualified and experienced persons to be filled as indicated below;

Job Title: Head Internal Audit
Directorate: Finance & Administration
Department: Audit
Reports to: Chair Audit Committee of the Board of Trusties
Directly Supervises: internal Audit Staff

Job summary:
The Head of Internal Audit is responsible for planning, executing and reporting on operational, financial, and regulatory and compliance related audits/reviews of JCRC. He/She shall provide advice on internal control to JCRC management including responding to questions on risk management.

Qualifications;

• Advance degree in management related field.
• Full membership to a professional body like ACCA and CIA is a MUST.
•  Bachelor's Degree in Commerce/ Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance or Business Administration majoring in Accounting.
• Five years of relevant audit experience at senior management level in a large organization.
• Capability and willingness to take responsibility and highly developed sense of integrity.
•  Ready to comply and live up to and in accordance with the JCRC policies and Core Values.

Other terms and conditions;
The position will be remunerated depending on qualifications and experience.
