intrahealth international ( www.lntrahealth.Org ) is currently seeking candidates for a new project funded by usaid. Rhites-e will support the government of uganda (gou) and key stakeholders to increase availability and utilization of high quality health services in 21 districts in eastern uganda and 2 in karamoja by strengthening health systems and improving the quality of, access to, and demand for health services with attention to equity and underserved populations. All positions are located in mbale, unless otherwise noted.

Human Resources Manager

The hr manager will exercise overall responsibility and facilitation for establishing and managing rhites-e’s human resources functions, including benefits administration, recruitment, performance management, retention, employee relations and development, compensation, leave and personnel records affirmative action, and equal employment opportunity. Requirements: masters degree in social sciences or human resource management and 6 years’ experience (or a bachelors degree with 10 years’ experience) developing and implementing hr policies, procedures, and dealing with complex employee relations issues and, developing and communicating hr management information.
