Job details:
Comprehensive Rehabilitation Services in Uganda (for people with disability) was established in 2006 as a private non-profit, non-governmental organization and is supported by CBM (Christian Blind Mission).

CoRSU Rehabilitation Hospital and Rehabilitation Centre on Entebbe Road provides Orthopaedic Surgery, Plastic Surgery and Rehabilitation, mainly for children with disability.

CoRSU Hospital is urgently looking for young and dynamic potential professionals in the following fields:

IT Officer (1 position)
Reports to: l-lead of HR and Organizational Development

Objective of the position:
Develop and support maintenance and performance of all databases; work with the developers and users of the databases and database applications to assist, manage and tailor the databases to meet CoRSU needs and requirements. Plan and implement network layouts, topologies, troubleshooting whenever required. To monitor and ensure optimum IT system performance of the database sub-systems and related applications.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

• A University degree in computer science, information Technology, information systems technology
  
• Extensive knowledge of Microsoft windows technologies, Client server architecture, wired and wireless technologies,
  
• Exposure to VMware ESX and Center.
  
• Experience with Cyber roam firewalls.
  
• CCNA
  
• Knowledge of SQL and database management Systems, Cisco switches programing.
  
• Knowledge of shell scripting and other scripting languages like Perl, Python, PHP etc
  
• All electronics hardware repairs and Troubleshooting.
