Job Title: Nurse Counselor
Reports to: Behavioral and Psychosocial Services Coordinator

Job Summary: The position holder will be responsible for providing MUg clients with quality counselling interventions that support reduction in health risk behaviors, promote adherence and coping abilities, and retention into care by actively referring and linking clients to other services

Job Requirements: A Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Nursing with a certificate in counselling qualification. S/he must be registered with the relevant professional body/council. The successful candidate must have 3 years ‘experience in clinical counselling with demonstrable knowledge of HIV/AIDS care issues.
