Self Help Africa( SHA ) is an international Non—Governmental Organisation implementing rural development, sustainable food and livelihoods security programmes in nine countries in Africa. SHA’s vision is an economically thriving and resilient rural Africa with a mission to support sustainable livelihoods for Uganda’s smallholder farmers.

Self Help Africa Uganda, in partnership with World Food Programme (WFP), will implement Agriculture and Market Support (AMS) Project in the Districts of Masindi, Kiryandongo and Adiumani, from June 2017 to May 2018. The project will offer training and other capacity building services intended to improve livelihoods for 3,000 farmers. SHA now seeks competent persons to fill the following position in the project.

Project Coordinator- Kiryandongo or Adjumani

Job Purpose: The project coordinator will be responsible for overall project management, including planning, implementation and quality control of the AMS Project. S/he will manage financial resources; supervise field officers and manage counterpart relationships with stakeholders at the district level.

Qualification and experience:

• A University degree in Agribusiness, business administration or marketing
•  Strong reporting skills. Competence in MS Office (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Power point)
• Fluency in English, Luo, Madi, Runyoro or Swahili will be an added advantage.
• Good motorcycle riding skills and valid riding permit.
