Baylor College of Medicine Children’s Foundation -Uganda (Baylor-Uganda) is an indigenous not-for-profit child health and development organisation affiliated to the Baylor College of Medicine International Paediatric AIDS Initiative (BIPAI), a Network of paediatric HIV/AIDS care and treatment Children’s Clinical Centres of Excellence and international program offices in 11 countries across Africa, Eastern Europe and North America.


Reporting to the Program Manager & Head of Operations, the successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring the implementation of policies & procedures for operational management


Overall responsibilities:

The Regional Administrator monitor the implementation of guidelines for office management, maintenance of accurate records of all assets and inventories , review and monitor the implementation of Proper fleet management procedures and Utilization of the Organization Motor Vehicles & Cycles, periodically carry out Stores and assets auditing to review the reliability and integrity of stock and assets management information & activities and make appropriate recommendations, receive, review and cross check all bills for telephone, security, cleaning, and staff break tea with supporting documents to establish their completeness and accuracy, develop the consolidated operational regional procurement plan and carry out micro procurement, develop and maintain a competent & motivated “administration team in each cluster” through implementing HR support activities, Prepare monthly administrative related reports.


Required Qualification, Experience and Competencies:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related course oriented towards Business Management. A post graduate Diploma in Project Management will be an added advantage
  • The candidate must have at least five (5) years of experience in Administration, Logistics Management & Procurement in health sub-sector projects
  • Knowledge of the local language will be an added advantage

  • Team and communication skills (both oral and written) and with strong management and analytical skills.
  • Must be dynamic,
  • Persuasive and convincing,
  • Self- motivated and able to demonstrate high initiative.
