Roofings Group is a leading manufacturer of steel and plastic building materials within East Africa. Our head office (Roofings Limited) is situated about 6km outside Kampala city center in Lubowa, along Entebbe Road. Other group companies include; Roofings Rolling Mills (located in Namanve) and Roofings Polypipes (located in Lubowa), Roofings Manufacturing Ltd (Rwanda).

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• The Senior Human Resource Officer will be tasked with the management of time and attendance records for all employees of Roofings Ltd
• Ensuring that staff absenteeism is under control and providing reports in this regard
•  Updating and management overtime records
•  Providing accurate attendance and overtime information for timeous processing of payroll
• Building and maintaining good working relationships with company staff

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• The applicant for the Senior Human Resource Officer job must hold a good Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or finance related field from a reputable university
• Having enrolled for professional training in CIPD is an added advantage.
• At least two years’ experience in handling attendance and overtime records in the East Africa perspective for a large organization employing 100 or more people.

• Keen attention to detail
•  Be consistent and fair
• Demonstrate high work ethics
