Kyarnbogo University is a public university, established in 2003 following the merger of the former institute of Teacher Education Kyambogo (ITEK), Uganda Polytechnic Kyambogo (UPK), and Uganda National institute tor Special Education (UNISE). The University Campus is located on Kyamhogo Hill in the capital city, Kampala. it is the second largest university in Uganda with more than 20,000 students.

Responsible for: Public Relations and Marketing Officer

PURPOSE OF THE JOB
To manage the marketing and public relations policies and strategies of the University and act as a link between the University, the public and other organizations with the aim of projecting the image of the University positively.

PERSON SPEOIHCATIDNS

• A minimum of a Masters‘ degree in Mass Communications, Journalism, Public Relations ore related field from a recognized University/institution
  
• A Bachelors degree in Mass Communication, Journalism, Public Relations or a related field from a recognized University/Institution.
  
• Should have a minimum of six years‘ experience in Public Relations and Marketing related duties in a reputable public or private Organization, three of which at the level of a Public Relations/Marketing Officer.
  
• Age Limit: Must be below 55 years old at the time of application.
  
• Good communication, interpersonal and leadership skills.
  
• Should he computer literate.

• A detailed and an Up-to-date Curriculum Vitae.
  
• Recent and original copies of their passport size Photographs attached to the application
  
• Certified copies of academic transcripts, certificates, and professional qualifications.

• Names and addresses of three referees who shout be advised to send reference letters direct to Director Human Resources under confidential cover.
