AIRD Uganda is non-governmental, non-political, non-religious and non-profit making organization with the main aim of protecting and seeking durable solutions for Refugees and IDP's in Africa in partnership with UNHCR the UN refugee agency.

AIRD is seeking for qualified personnel to fill the position listed below;

Job Title: Surveyor
Location: Kampala with frequent field visits
Report to: Country Program Director
Responsible For: Planning and coordinating a comprehensive construction surveys to establish lines and grades within the construction site

Job Summary:
Coordinating comprehensive Roads and other civil constructions surveys to establish lines and grades within the construction site. Making exact measurements and determine property boundaries. Prepare or supervise preparation of all data, charts, plots, maps, records, and documents related to surveys. Inspects to ensure that proper compliance with construction specifications is adhered to

Job Qualifications:

•  Civil Engineering with/or Diploma in Road/ Infrastructure Surveying or Bachelors’ degree in Land sun/eying and geometrics or any other related qualification with emphasis in surveying. OR BS. Civil Engineering with/or Diploma in Road Surveying
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in the Roads & Infrastructure field

Additional Skills:

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Excellent leadership, motivational and presentation skills. Willingness to work in any part of the country.
•  Works well under pressure and able to be up to the deadlines
• Computer Skills
