Makerere University Joint AIDS Program (MJAP) is a private-not-for profit Company under Makerere University. MJAP works to build partnerships and strengthen health systems to optimally respond to HIVIAIDS, TB and other diseases of public health importance in Africa. In collaboration with the Rakai Health Sciences Program (RHSP) MJAP will implement a program on Accelerating HIV/AIDS Epidemic Control in Masaka region (Gomba,Butamba|a. Sembabule and Mpigi districts). in addition, MJAP is anticipating a sub-award grant for accelerating HIV/AIDS Epidemic Control in Kampala region; under the Presidents Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR).

MJAP is now seeking competent and dynamic individuals to fill the following field based position:

Role Title: Laboratory Advisor (1 position-Masaka)

Role Definition: To develop and implement strategies that ensure provision of well-planned laboratory services; and support the implementation and monitoring of quality HIVIT B laboratory services in line with Ministry of Health guidelines and standards.
