Action for Community Development (ACODEV) is a Nongovernmental Organization that envisions "A Uganda and Africa where children, women, and men are healthy and living economically productive and dignified lives”, with a mission, "To empower grassroot communities in East and Southern Africa with innovative solutions that give children and women opportunities to realize their full potential to living healthy and productive lives. We promote Human Rights Health programs and institutional Capacity Strengthening for grassroots organisations.

ACODEV through a sub-grant award from Community Health Alliance Uganda (CHAU)'and her association member the international HIV/AIDS Alliance (IHAA) in Brighton UK, with funds from the Swedish Embassy in Uganda, is contracted to implement a five-year (2016-2021) comprehensive integrated Sexual and Reproductive Health and HIV services program referred to as the: Uganda SRHR Umbrella program in the districts of Kabarole, Kamwenge, Hoima and Kyenjojo. The overall goal of the program is: To contribute to improved Uganda National SRHR and HIV outcomes. The program will also contribute to the Health Sector Development Plan 2016-2020 and the HSP.

Midwife to act as Project Assistant on a Maternal Newborn and Child Health project in Luwero Dist.
