Position: 10 Audit Associates

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include:

• assist with all aspects of the audit process including planning, fieldwork and completion
  
• plan a job including preparation for pre-planning meeting; liaising with the tax department on responsibilities and information required
  
• ensure that work papers in respect of work performed are clear, comprehensive and conclusive and prepare points for attention oi senior team members
  
• communicate any technical or administrative issues with senior team members as appropriate
  
• refer to the firm‘s risk management policies and procedures and be familiar with the audit manual
  
• plan and complete a small job, with assistance
  
• obtain an understanding of the client's business and analyse client issues. reaching logical conclusions by applying theory to practice and appreciate their implication to potential audit issues

ln addition to the general requirements listed below, the ideal candidate;

• should have a first class honours degree majoring in Accounts from a reputed university
  
• should have good knowledge of accounting software used in Uganda
  
• pursuing professional qualification CPA/ACCA may have an added advantage.
  
• having experience in similar positions for at least 1 to 2 years would be an added advantage
