Assistant Audit Executives: 5 Positions
Essential Duties and Responsibilities ‘include:

• take responsibility for wider client management and liaison on smaller less complex assignments
  
• play an active role in the audit planning discussions to identify audit risks and appropriate audit strategy ~
  
• communicate any issues relating to an audit with manager or partner,
  
• ensure efficient use of appropriate software packages‘
  
• oversee all aspects of audit fieldwork and completion
  
• prepare or review work papers and drafts of financial statements produce client deliverables, specifically drafting sections of the report to management 4
  
• address, discuss and advance conclusion in respect to technical and audit issues identified during the course of the audit
  
• delegate work to other members of the audit team, ensuring associates understand their responsibilities and have received appropriate on-the-job training/coaching
  
• maintain an understanding of audit methodology
  
• adhere to the firms risk management policies and procedures ‘

In addition to the general requirements listed below, the ideal candidate should:

• have sound knowledge of accounting software used in Uganda
  
• have a professional qualification of CPA/ACCA
  
• have experience of at least 3 years in a similar position

in addition the specific criteria stated above, candidate for both position should;

• have good numerical and analytical skills
  
• be willing to work under supervision and learn new skills quickly
  
• be results-oriented and able to meet tight deadlines
  
• have sound knowledge of various Microsoft packages
  
• adhere to the highest degree of professional standards and strict client confidentiality.
  
• be able to work well within a team
  
• have effective written and oral communication skills
  
• possess a strong work initiative and the ability to adapt to new challenges and ideas
