Post: Cost Accountant
Reports to the GM-Finance
Duty station: Namanve

Prime responsibilities of the position:

• Analyze factory overhead cost drivers and develop a methodology for allocating these costs to specific lines.
• Determine product cost
• Reconcile all raw materials to finished goods
• Monitor actual versus absorbed factory overheads on a monthly basis.
• Create and distribute detailed monthly product cost reports to project managers which include actual and estimated product costs.
• Perform month end close activities related to Cost Accounting
• Provide management with reports specifying and comparing factors affecting product costs.
• Classify costs accurately
• Any other duties assigned

The applicant must possess the following;

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce or Business Administration with a focus in accounting or finance
• Professional qualification in Accountancy/ Auditing i.e. ACCA, CPA etc.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Minimum 3 years related experience.
