ActionAid Uganda (AAU), a National Development Organization registered under the laws of Uganda and with a local Board seeks to recruit suitably qualified, self-driven, result-oriented and competent persons to fill the positions of; Project Coordinator-Youth Empowerment for Sustainable Self Employment and National Development (YESSEN); and Youth & Campaigns Officer.

Title: Project Coordinator (YESSEN)
Reports to: Manager Programme Development with matrix reporting to the Local Rights Program (LRP) .Cluster coordinators-Gulu and Katakwi Clusters
Responsible for: Project Officer
Directorate: Prograrnmes
Location: ActionAid Uganda Cluster Office in

Job Role: To manage and coordinate the designing, development, implementation and reporting of the YESSEN project in line with EU and AAU guidelines to ensure quality project implementation and tangible impact.

Key Result Areas:

• Oversee implementation of YESSEN project activities in line with EU and AAU requirements;
• Monitor the implementation of YESSEN activities and provide support to project implementing team and protect;
• Take lead in undertaking contextual analysis to analyze young people's issues to generate evidence for policy and influencing;
• initiate, nurture and sustain strategic networks and alliances on the YESSEN project that deal with young people's empowerment and their campaigns;
• Prepare and submit concise, high quality reports field from an accredited academic institution -Training in Entrepreneurship will be an added Advantage

Experience:
3-4 years of relevant experience especially working with Youth programming and related Policy, Advocacy work and social entrepreneurship development.
NOTE: Ability to ride a Motorcycle is a MUST.
