The ICEA GROUP is a multi-faceted Company operating in the East African Countries. In Uganda its head office is situated at Rwenzori Courts in Kampala and it has also opened up Regional Branch Offices all over the Country.
We are seeking to recruit competent people for the position of Financial Advisor for our Kampala and Mbale offices.
Job Summary: The Financial Advisor at ICEA Life Assurance will prospect, close, service and develop a portfolio
of both Group and Individual Life Assurance business as per the given targets, represent the company correctly in the field, do intelligence collection and proper record keeping as per the Company’s value preposition
Qualifications
• A Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Business Administration (Marketing Major), Business Studies, Management science, Finance or any other related Business qualification.
• At least 2 (two) years ‘experience in sales and marketing, customer relations, retirement benefits schemes.
• COP qualification would be at an added advantage.
Additional Skills
• Should be fluent in English and any other local language from the Eastern region
• Possess strong leadership, teamwork, and communication skills
• Broad knowledge and understanding of the global insurance landscape and place a priority on client service and knowledge of global or domestic business landscape (preferred, but not required
• Show commitment to personal growth and career development, a strong desire to learn, and success in team environments
• Excellent communication, planning, and organizational skills
• Excellent analytical and quantitative skills.
• Desire to develop a deep understanding of the insurance industry
• Unquestioned commitment to integrity and ethical decision-making
