Brookside Limited, is the manufacturer of Fresh Dairy milk and milk products, a heritage brand in Uganda. Brookside's vision is to be the market leader in East and Central Africa for milk and milk products and be the benchmark in the industry in Africa. Our operations are focused in the processing of safe quality milk and milk products that meets the customer requirements. As we continue to grow and uphold our commitment to excellence, we are looking for a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our Manufacturing team in the Engineering section.

Role Purpose

Responsible for carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance of the compressors and following SOPs for refrigeration maintenance as per the agreed guidelines/provisions.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience

Job holder must possess a Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering. Must have over 2-3 years' experience in operating refrigeration systems.

• Carry out daily cleaning of the Machinery
• Maintain daily maintenance check list
• Operate, monitor and maintenance of the refrigeration and compressed air systems
• Record the activities and submit reports to the Maintenance Supervisor daily
• Switch on and reset power supply in the factory
• Operate and monitor the generator when required
• Manage and coordinate with general hand staff in the section
• Maintain own safety and safety of other by putting on PPEs and uniform all the time while at work
• Report all accidents and near miss incidences
• Report any activity that can lead to damage or loss of the equipment you are operating
• Maintain acquaintance with the company's policies
• Perform any other duties as may be assigned to you by your immediate supervisor
