Role Overview:
To manage the sourcing, purchasing, and supply of all goods required for bar and restaurant operations, ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery while maintaining optimal inventory levels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Source, negotiate with, and manage suppliers for beverages (alcoholic & non-alcoholic), food ingredients, packaging, and operational supplies.
- Prepare and process purchase orders in line with budget and inventory needs.
- Ensure all procured items meet quality specifications, especially for bar stock.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with reliable vendors.
- Monitor market trends and pricing to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Coordinate with the Store Keeper and kitchen/bar managers to forecast demand and prevent stockouts or overstocking.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations (e.g., liquor licensing).
- Maintain accurate procurement records and reports.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Must have proven procurement or purchasing experience within the hospitality industry, specifically in a bar, restaurant, or hotel.
- Strong knowledge of F&B products, particularly bar supplies and beverages.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in inventory or procurement software and MS Office.
- Highly organized and able to manage multiple orders and deadlines.
