Role Overview:

To receive, store, issue, and manage all inventory (especially bar stock, food items, and supplies) in an organized, secure, and systematic manner, ensuring accurate record-keeping and supporting smooth daily operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive, inspect, and verify all incoming deliveries against purchase orders.
  • Properly store items in designated areas (dry store, refrigerated, bar stock) using FIFO (First-In, First-Out) methods.
  • Issue stock to the bar, kitchen, and other departments upon authorized request.
  • Conduct regular stock takes and cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe storage environment.
  • Monitor stock levels and alert the Procurement Officer of low inventory or expiring items.
  • Prepare inventory reports for management.
  • Assist in controlling pilferage and ensuring security of stock.
  • Support during audits and inventory checks.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Diploma in Storekeeping, Inventory Management, or relevant experience.
  • Must have prior experience as a store keeper or in inventory control within a bar, restaurant, or hotel.
  • Strong knowledge of bar stock, beverages, and F&B storage requirements (including temperature control).
  • Physical ability to lift, move, and organize stock.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and strong numerical skills.
  • Honest, organized, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Basic computer skills for inventory tracking.
