WCH has been working in Uganda since 2004. WCH is looking for hardworking and enthusiastiC person to fill the position below;
Position: Grants Acquisition Specialist
Possible Start Period: January 2020
Salary Range: UGX monthly Gross 9,428,436 - 14,631,321)
Reports to: Program Manager
Contract Duration: 1 year with possibility of extension
The Grants Acquisition Specialist (GAS) is responsible for identifying and developing concept note and project proposals tor grant awards. The Specialist will strengthen fundraising opportunities with strategic partnerships, institutional and other donors in Uganda so as to mobilise resources for WarChild Holland, programming. (S)He will be leading the development of the resource mobilisation/fund raising competencies and capacity and coordinating the compliance and reporting for grants, in close collaboration with stakeholders and WCH counterparts..

Major roles and responsibilities as below;
• Donor engagement porttolio coordination, compliance, coordinate and identification of new donors.
• Concept note and proposal development.
• Staff competency and capacity-building.
• Representation and networking
