JOB DETAILS:
ICT DEPARTMENT
Post: ICT Technician
Duty station: UMU Main Campus
Reports to: Head ICT.

Qualifications
The candidate should have a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field, passed with at least an Upper Second, three years working experience as an ICT Technician in a busy organization. S/he should have a satisfactory record of service to the community.

Responsibilities
• The ICT Technician reports to the immediate supervisor and provides hardware and software
• Maintenance, training and consultation, and recommendations about future planning and Development of resources.
• Ensure technology is accessible and equipped with current hardware and software
• Troubleshoot hardware, software and network operating system
• Be familiar with all hardware and software
• Be familiar with network operating system
• Provide orientation to new users of existing technology
• Train staff about potential uses of existing technology
• Train staff about new and potential use

Job Education Requirements: Bachelor's Degree

Job Experience Requirements: Three years
