JOB DETAILS:
Overview
Reporting to the machine parts to specification using machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, shapers or grinders, *Measure, examine and test completed units in order to detect defects and ensure conformance to specifications, using precision instruments such as micrometers, *Set up, adjust and operate all of the basic machine tools and many specialized or advanced variation tools, *Monitor the feed and speed of machines during the machining process, *Operate equipment to verify operational efficiency, *Clean and lubricate machines, tools, equipment, Health, and safety regulations while at work, *Select the appropriate tools, machines, and materials to be used in the preparation of machinery work, *Performing any other duties assigned by the workshop supervisor. Work conditions
May be required to lift or move items that weigh up to 20 kilograms, *You may spend much of the time on your feet, *You have to adhere to safety precautions due to the high risks involved in operating electrical equipment.
Physical and mental effort
A reasonable level of fitness, *Able to work under pressure, *Normal color vision, *Adaptable and tactful when dealing with different groups of people.

Educational qualifications and experience
Ordinary Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Craft II certificate in Mechanical Engineering. *2 years of relevant experience in a similar role.

Should possess strong general management and leadership skills, *Must possess creativity and innovative skills in managing projects, Should have good analyzing skills as well, problem-solving and able to grasp the problem at hand, *And able to take quick steps to resolve such problems, *ability to develop, formulate strategy and exercise good judgment, *Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
