Bureau Veritas is looking for a passionate Chinese speaking Business Developer to join our sales team. The Business Developer’s roles and responsibilities will include the following:


About the job
1. Support management on business development.
2. Outreach potential business partners by liaising with sizable Chines companies in the Eastern African region mainly involved in Building and infrastructure, Power and Utility, Oil and Gas and Mining industries.
3. Participate in ad-hoc projects not limited to sales & marketing, product development, frontline support, project support
4. Contribute to the continuous improvement on key business & development processes.
5. Provide actionable insights based on a thorough business analysis.
6. Provide administrative support to team leads.
7. Provide linkage between the company and major Chinese business groups in the region
8. Experience in account management and business development in the B2B space.
9. Excellent time management, customer facing and organisational skills.
10. Able to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment, individually or in a team.
11. Strong Go-To-Market drive
12. Proficient use of Microsoft Office (essential) and Sales Force


About you
1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, Marketing or relevant fields.
2. Go getter, energetic and outgoing.
3. Self-motivated and hardworking.
4. Fluent in both Chinese and English, with strong verbal written presentation communication skills
5. Experience in East Africa or Africa context is mandatory
6. Experience in Infrastructure sector within a major EPC player (CRBC, CCCC, CREG, CSCEC, GRRC, Energy China etc) will be an added advantage.
7. Fresh graduates with strong international business acumen will also be considered
