JOB DETAILS:
REPORTS TO: Manager Business Applications

Job Purpose
• The Job holder will be responsible for providing expert advice, and delivery of quality second level application support for the Bank’s Finacle Core Banking application within the designated service portfolio. Design, configure, deploy, and maintain customization for the Core Banking system and related applications.
• Analysis and resolution of Finacle related issues which have been escalated from bank L1 support team during operations and maintain proper documentation/logs for resolution provided.
• Co-ordinate with L3 support and product vendor in case of product defects.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES /KEY DELIVERABLES
• End to End Handing of Finacle application L2 issues ranging from incident analysis, bug fixes, SIT Testing, UAT support, move to production etc.
• Coordinate with L3 support/ product vendor in case of product bug/enhancement requirement/very complex issues.
• Conduct Finacle customization (document and own all customization done on the core banking system, review of new customization requests. Design, development, and deployment of the same in production per change management processes of the bank)
• Conduct Finacle CBS production application support and maintenance.
• Coordinate permanent resolution of recurring issues and ensure longterm resolution through proper Incident and Problem Management.
• Carry out application automation spanning performance and operational improvements.
• Work with various teams like Infrastructure, development teams to resolve issues, analysis of root cause for complex issues and outages etc.
• Ensure strong stakeholder management skills with focus on continuous service improvement, consistent delivery, and stability of production systems.
• Maintain proper documentation for SOPs, MOPs, Knowledge management and transfer to L1 teams

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES REQUIRED
• Bachelors in IT, Computer Science, Sofware Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Engineering, and any other related fields.
• Certification in Oracle database management/scripting preferred.
• ITIL Foundation training preferred.
• Hands-on Production support experience on FINACLE 10.x/ 11.x Core Banking platform modules
• At least 4 years of technical experience supporting Finacle banking system in medium to large organizations.
• Sound understanding of RDBMS / Unix / Large banking application.
• Significant experience in Oracle SQL/PLSQL.
• Hands on experience with Unix operating systems and Bash scripting.
• Finacle Core Banking Functional Systems Training.
• Understanding of Risk Management, Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity, IT Security Architecture, and IT Regulatory Compliance.
• Finacle Patching and Deep architecture knowledge.
• Sofware Development Life Cycle skills
