The Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH is a public-benefit German company with worldwide operations in the field of international cooperation for sustainable development. GIZ Uganda through Backup Health invites a National Consulting firm with an excellent record in public health, social science, health policy planning and leadership, organization leadership and management to provide Consultancy Services for support of the harmonization of annual work-plans and budgets towards improved coordination in the health sector. The following information and documents will be required during evaluation on pass/fail basis and non-compliant
bids will be eliminated
• Registered powers of attomey authorizing signatory/ representative of the firm to sign tenders/bids on behalf of your firm.
• Current Income Tax Clearance Certificate addressed to GIZ
• Valid Trading License
• Bid validity period of 120 working days.

Interested and eligible bidders shall obtain detailed bidding/tendering documents in soft copy form only. Kindly submit your request for bidding/ tender documents by email to Procurement-giz-uganda@giz.de starting from the date of publishing of this tender by indicating in the subject the tender reference number: 83447138- Support towards strengthening the harmonization of work-plans.
All requests for clarifications to this tendering process shall be shared in writing and should be addressed to GIZ Uganda via email Procurement-giz-uganda@giz.de at least 5days prior to the bid submission deadline. Please indicate in the subject tender reference number 83447138- Support towards strengthening the harmonization of work-plans.

Interested bidders should submit their bids/offers electronically by Friday 22 September 2023, 4:00 (EAT) to UG Quotation@giz.de indicating in the subject fender reference number: 83447138- Support towards strengthening the harmonization of work-plans.
• Failure to indicate the tender reference number in the subject may disqualify your offer directly as it may fail to be received in the tender box.
• Late submissions will not be accepted!
• Bids submitted with GIZ staff or other GIZ emails in copy shall be rejected.
• Only bids submitted to UG Quotation@giz.de are acceptable.
You should have offers in PDF and zip folders.
Two separate emails should be used one submitting technical proposal offer and second email submitting Financial Proposal Offer.
Only filetransfer https://filetransfer.giz.de submission of documents exceeding the default mail size of 30 MB should be used or use two separate emails one submitting the eligibility documents with the technical proposal/ offer and second email submitting Financial Proposal/Offer. Please provide password for your submission immediately and reference the tender number for which the password applies. GIZ only accepts File Transfer for submission of documents exceeding the default mail size of 30MBs. We transfer, Google drive etc will not be accepted.
Failure to follow the above instruction may lead your offer to be encrypted and rejected.
GIZ remains with full rights to cancel this process at any stage without informing providers and at no cost refund to the providers who participate in this tender process.
