BID NOTICE UNDER OPEN DOMESTIC BIDDING
PROCUREMENT OF A DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION SUPERVISING CONSULTANT FOR THE COMPLETION OF THE RESIDENTIAL PROJECT IN KYANJA
NSSF/CONS/2023-2024/00016
1. The National Social Security Fund has allocated funds to be used for the procurement of a design and construction supervising consultant for the completion of the residential project in Kyanja.
2. The National Social Security Fund invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the provision of the above- mentioned services.
3. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the open domestic bidding procedures contained in the Goverment of Uganda's Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act, 2003 as amended and is open to all bidders from eligible source countries.
4. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding documents at the address given below at 8(a) from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
5. A complete set of Bidding Documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the address below at 8(a) and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of UGX 100,000 (Uganda Shillings: One Hundred Thousand Shillings only). The method of payment will be direct cash deposit to the NSSF's Bank Account number 9030005950790 at STANBIC BANK UGANDA LTD. The bidder will be required to submit the bank slip to NSSF Cashier on 14th Floor workers House who will issue the receipt as a confirmation of payment of funds. No liability will be accepted for loss or late delivery.
6. Bids must be delivered to the address below at 8(a) at or before 05/03/2024 at 10:00AM. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of UGX 7,000,000/= (Uganda Shillings, Seven Million shillings only). Late
bids shall be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders' representatives who choose to attend at the address below at 8(b) on 05/03/2024 at 10:30AM.
7. There shall be a pre-bid meeting and site visit on 27/02/2024 at 10:00AM. Attendance of the Pre-bid meeting/site visit is mandatory for all bidders.
8. a) Address documents may be inspected at, issued from and delivered to: Procurement Office on Worker's House Plot 1 Pilkington Road, 13th Floor southern wing
b) Address of Bid Opening: Workers House Plot 1 Pilkington Road, 13th Floor Southern wing PDU Meeting Room.
