JOB DETAILS:
The Infectious Diseases Research Collaboration (IDRC) seeks to hire a suitable candidate for the position of Records Officer. The successful candidate will report to the Clinic Manager. The position will be based in Tororo/Busia district.

Duties and Responsibilities
• Assist study nurses to identify and pick study participants file/charts during clinic visits
• Ensuring proper filing of case record forms and other source documents within the study participants file.
• Photocopying of case record forms, laboratory request forms, informed consent forms and other documents for use during clinic visits.
• Proper keeping of study participants files in the filing cabinets
• Work with the study coordinators and study clinicians to file copies of study participants laboratory results
• Repairing worn-out or damaged study participants charts
• Work with data officers to ensure complete data entry of all case record forms in study participants’ files and return files to the respective filing cabinets after data entry
• Keep confidentiality of all data on study related documents.

Qualifications and other desirables for the job
• Diploma or equivalent in medical records keeping
