JOB DETAILS:
Job Description
• Support the business in effective implementation of management decisions relating to recruitment administration, employee welfare, change management and organizational initiatives within policies and procedures.
• Coordinate the human resource administration projects such as employee surveys, Diversity days.
• Provide support in the Workforce and talent requirements, planning, and monitoring in line with organizational strategy to meet short and long terms talent requirements.
• Support the recruitment process to ensure that the company acquires high caliber talent in line with business requirements.
• Support in the coordination of mentorship initiative to enhance employee engagement and staff motivation.
• Ensure regular reviews of Job descriptions and Job titles on a regular basis to ensure alignment with the organization structure.
• Oversee the execution of employee orientation and induction.
• Manage employee Master data in the ANAEL HRIS.
• Support the drafting and administration of the HR Section Budget.
• Manage employee related data base.
• Be the source of reference to all staff on Staff Regulations, Policies and Procedures.
• Manage all HR related contracts for service providers, ensure their validity and adherence to the terms therein including supervision and regular reviews of their performance.
• Ensure staff on fixed term are in possession of valid contracts.
• Participate in the implementation and deployment of the Group Compliance Programmes.
• Provide Industrial relations and employee relations support to the business.
• Ensure and manage the maintenance of sound relationships with the appropriate employee bodies and take appropriate execution of all industrial relations matters.
• Keep up to date with changes to employment and other relevant legislation and HR best practices.
HR Information Systems:
• Maintain and Update the HRIS
• Ensure critical ad-hoc HR information support to line managers in accordance with their requirements
• Ensure up to date organization chart in ANAEL
• Submit various report as may be required
Immigration and Expatriate Matters:
• Accommodation and settlement related issues.

Candidate profile
• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource, Business Administration, Social Sciences or related field.
• Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management and/ or Masters degree is desirable.
• 5 years minimum years post qualifying experience
• Proven human resources management, administrative, communication and inter-personal relations.
• At least 5 years’ experience in general Human Resource Administration and Management.
• Analytical skills and ability to work with ANAEL/HRIS.
• Knowledge of Uganda Labour Laws application.
