JOB DETAILS:

Mission/ Core purpose of the Job
The Snr.Specialist RAN/TX Performance and Reporting will be tasked with Reporting, Analytics and Monitoring of Radio Access Network and Transport performance metrics.

Main Job Functions:
• Regular reporting and Analysis of RAN&TX KPIs to ensure targets are being met and addressed in a proactive manner leading to sustainable improvement of customer experience.
• Regular RAN/TX performance report generation to both internal and external stakeholder
• Escalate RAN & TX performance issues in real time to teams responsible
• Adhoc analysis and monitoring as needed
• Trend analysis
• Report and track progress of areas of network performance improvement for 2G/3G/4G Radio networks through different complaint avenues
• Convert detailed technical data into management level progress reporting for less technical audiences and share holders
• Share Network performance initiatives for different network areas
• Ensure projects are not impacting different network performance areas and are meeting key performance indicators.
• Ensure compliance to Second National operator license and MTN Group Quality of Service (QoS) standards
• Ensure Network performance is in line with customer expectation of Quality of service and Customer SLAs
• Ensure long term sustenance of Network and Service quality
• Regular Quality of service Benchmarking with competition and provide recommendation for improvement.

Qualifications
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Telecommunications Engineering or Equivalent
• Relevant skills in Data Analytics and Reporting tools.

Experience:
• In depth understanding of Telecommunications and network technologies.
• At least 5 years in Telecommunications Network planning or Operations
• Proficiency in Advanced Microsoft Software (MS Excel, MS Project, MS Work, MS Power Point, SharePoint etc.)
• Drive testing tools
• Key Performance Indicators Analysis and dashboard creation
• Excellent PC and computing skills.
• Reporting skills
