JOB DETAILS:

MAIN JOB PURPOSE,
The Head of Specialties (HOS) is responsible for strengthening and supervision of the sales and operations of the LPG & Lubricants business to meet company market share and profit objectives.

GENERAL ACTIVITIES OF THE JOB
• Carry out LPG & Lubricants market research and analysis to establish demand trends and explore opportunities and initiatives to achieve consistent sales and growth of the company’s customer base.
• Plan and implement an aggressive sales & marketing strategy to promote and sell the company’s products to facilitate the penetration and expansion of its customer base and achievement of the target sales and profit margins in accordance with the approved budget.

SPECIFIC ACTIVITIES OF THE JOB
• Prospect, evaluate and realize sales opportunities for the company.
• Carry out market intelligence and evaluate the competition including sourcing and pricing trends and recommend strategies to enhance growth and penetration in the market.
• Conduct customer satisfaction surveys and recommend improvements in customer service;
•Prepare sales quotations and tender applications in accordance with the laid down procedures and guidelines.
•Maintain excellent public relations and after sales customer services to all the company’s clients. 

Qualifications and Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field.
• 5-10 years’ Business Development experience in the oil industry
• Proven skills managing people (at least four years as head of an operational department)
• Good knowledge of products and services of the fuel station operations and equipment
• Excellent Communication and Listening skills
• Computer literacy
• Certification from relevant professional bodies
