National Animal Genetics Resources Centre and Data Bank, a body corporate under the Ministry of Agriculture Animal Industry and Fisheries its mandate is to take a leading role in establishing a comprehensive National Animal Breeding Programme in Uganda, wishes to recruit the following:

Overall Job Purpose
To receive, issue and record stores in the organization .

Specific Responsibilities
• Receives, keeps retrieves and issues stores in accordance with the established procedures;
• Receives and compiles requisition orders
• Verifies invoices against goods received notes
• Posts and maintains stores records
• Undertakes stock-taking and stock-inspection.
• Records invoices and supplies
• Checks and verifies invoices and issues notes
• Ensures proper storage of stock.
• Supervises vehicle loading and offloading.
• Takes stock of stores
• Records damaged, obsolete and expired items.
• Maintains stores records.
• Issues stock in accordance with the established procedures.
• Controls and maintains inventory levels.
• Follows up on orders to ensure that materials are delivered on promised dates.
• Manages the security of the stores;

Basic Requirements:
• Should have a Bachelor's Degree in Stores/Supplies Management or Procurement, transport and logistics management,
• Equivalent Qualification from a recognized Institution;
• Working experience of at least two (2) years at the level of Stores Assistant
