Job details:
The Eastern and Southern African Management institute (ESAMI) seeks the services of a suitably qualified person to fill the post of Country Coordinator at its Office in Kampala, Uganda.

Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible to the Manager, Marketing and Business Development, the Country Coordinator will be responsible for the Business development and marketing of ESAMI products and services and management of the Country Office in Kampala including;

  • Marketing and Promote ESAMI services and Activities- training, consultancy and research in the country
  • Undertake market research and compile market reports to help improve the quality of service delivery
  • Prospect for new clients, grow business by penetrating new markets and make follow- up accordingly
  • Gather relevant information on market characteristics, products, services and customer behavior and design relevant strategies
  • Attend to customer queries, perform public relations and publicity activities to project positive ESAMI image
  •  Assess magnitude and nature of competition and advise on appropriate strategies
  •  Manage both finances and office operations and generate revenue as per target to be agreed upon from time to time
  • Write business proposals
  • Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.

Qualifications required

  • A minimum of first degree in a relevant field. A specialization in Marketing will be an added advantage
  • A minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a regional or international organization or Institution dealing with capacity building programmes or other related professional services
