JOB DETAILS:
Job Title: Finance Manager
Main Purpose of The Job: To manage the financial reporting and compliance requirements of the Bank. .
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Review of approved supplier and staff payment documents for accuracy, completeness and against the budget before execution of payment.
• Carry out project appraisals and evaluations of all new products and services.
• Prepare the product costing & pricing report on a quarterly basis.
• Verify all Head Office transactions to ensure they are properly accounted for.
• Approve payments in line with the approval limits as mandated.
• Prepare weekly, monthly and quarterly returns to BOU
• Ensure preparation and maintenance of an accurate fixed asset register.
• Prepare end of year final accounts in line with FIA & IFRS guidelines.
• Coordination of internal & external audits.
• Ensure issues raised by the independent reviewers are attended to in a timely manner. Ensure that relevant policies are updated in a timely manner.
• Ensure that all tax computations are made i.e. corporation tax, stamp duty, PAYE, withholding tax, LST and remitted on time.
• Ensure timely preparation and submission of statutory returns and timely submission of remittances to all statutory bodies.
• Provision of accurate financial information to all stakeholders.
• Supervise accountants and appraise their performance.
• Manage leave in line with the approved leave plan.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in Commerce/ Business Administration with a bias in Accounting and or Finance
• Certified Public Accountant with CPA or ACCA
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years' experience in an Accounting or Finance preferably in a Financial Institution.
