The Presidential Initiative on Banana Industrial Development (PIBID)/Banana Industrial Research and Development Centre (BIRDC) invites sealed proposals from eligible consultants for:

- The RFP document (s) shall be inspected and issued at PDU Office, PIBID/BIRDC, Plot 26A, Lumumba Avenue, Kampala; P.O. Box 35747, Kampala.
- The deadline for proposal submission shall be at PDU Office, PIBID/BIRDC, Plot 26A, Lumumba Avenue, Kampala; P.O. Box 35747, Kampala, October 20th, 2026 at 11:00 A.m.
- The bidding document may be purchased by interested bidders/consultants from the address at 8 (b) upon submitting a written application and payment of a non-refundable fee of UGX 100,000 (Uganda Shillings One Hundred Thousand Only).
- The procurements by Presidential Initiative on Banana Industrial Development (PIBID)/Banana Industrial Research and Development Centre (BIRDC) are regulated by the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Authority.

| e. Evaluation of technical proposals | Within 20 working days from the date of the opening of the technical proposals for technical evaluation |
| f. Proposal opening date for the financial proposal | Within 5 working days from the date of Contracts Committee approval of the Technical Evaluation Report and upon issue of a notice to consultants. |
| g. Evaluation of financial proposals | Within 3 days from opening of financial proposals for financial evaluation in the case of two stage. |
| h. Display and communication of best evaluated bidder/consultant notice | Within 5 working days from Contracts Committee approval of financial evaluation report |
| i. Contract Signature | After expiry of at least 10 working days from display of the Best Evaluated Bidder/Consultant Notice and Attorney General's approval |
