About the Role:
Twyford Impex (U) Ltd is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Receivable Specialist to manage billing, invoicing, reconciliation, and receivables for our transport and logistics operations. You’ll ensure accurate revenue recognition, timely collections, and proper allocation of costs keeping our financial operations running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, issue, and manage customer and transport-related invoices in line with approved freight rates
- Verify freight charges, transport receipts, and delivery documents for accuracy
- Perform carrier and customer reconciliations to ensure invoices match system records
- Maintain reconciliation statements in TMS/ERP systems after invoice issuance
- Upload and organize all supporting documents including receipts, invoices, cess fees, and abnormal charges
- Document any deductions with clear reasoning and references
- Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on outstanding payments
- Support payment applications and ensure correct allocation to cost centers
- Prepare periodic AR reports for management
- Maintain accurate financial records for audits and compliance
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications & Experience:
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, Logistics, Transport Management, or related field
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in Accounts Receivable, logistics accounting, or transport finance
- Experience in manufacturing, logistics, or transport environment is a plus
Skills & Competencies:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and accounting/analysis systems
- Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English
- Strong reconciliation, invoicing, and reporting skills
- Good negotiation and follow-up skills for collections
- High integrity and accountability
- Self-motivated, team-oriented, able to work independently
- Flexible to work Monday–Saturday in operational environments
