Role Overview
As an Area Sales Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving sales and ensuring the effective distribution of our products. You will work closely with the Sales and Marketing Manager, overseeing individual sales efforts while promoting a customer-focused approach. In this on-site position, you will thrive in a dynamic environment where adaptability, critical thinking, and resilience are key to achieving your goals.
Position Details

- Location: Outside Uganda
- Work Arrangement: On-site
- Reporting Structure: Reports to Sales and Marketing Manager
Key Responsibilities
1. Direct and coordinate activities involving sales of manufactured products.
2. Resolve customer complaints regarding sales and service.
3. Oversee regional and local sales managers and their teams.
4. Prepare budgets and approve budget expenditures.
5. Assess marketing potential of new and existing store locations.
6. Direct, coordinate, and review sales and service accounting and record-keeping.
Requirements
Essential Qualifications
- Male Tukutuku driver
- With class A licence
- And can do sales
- Education Requirements: Bachelor's degree in business or other related fields.
- Required Experience: 2-3 years in sales management.
- Mandatory Skills: Persuasion, Critical Thinking, Coordination, Negotiation, Complex Problem Solving.
- Required Technical Knowledge: Sales and Marketing, Customer and Personal Service, Brand Promotion, Budgeting.
- Language Requirements: Proficiency in English, Swahili, French, and Lingala.
Preferred Qualifications
- Desired Additional Skills: Active Listening, Speaking, Judgment and Decision Making.
- Beneficial Experience: Familiarity with sales promotion and event management.
- Preferred Certifications: None specified.
- Additional Technical Knowledge: Computers and Electronics.
