Responsibilities or duties

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Teach, examine and grade students;
• Supervise research for students;
• Mentor junior staff;
• Conduct research and community outreach activities;
• Write proposals for attracting funding to the department;
• Perform any other official duties as assigned by the Head of Department

Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)

Required Qualifications:

• A Master of Science degree in Human Physiology from a recognised institution;
• At least an upper second Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) or a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS), or a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from a recognised institution;
• Registration from the respective professional body.

Tenure of Appointment: 4-year contract

• APPLICANTS FOR ALL OTHER POSITIONS SHOULD NOT EXCEED 55 YEARS OF AGE AT THE TIME OF APPLICATION.
