The Assistant Technician will be responsible for undertaking the approved in learning/Research.

Responsibilities:

• Clean and sterilize laboratory glassware, surfaces, and equipment
• Package, transport, submit, process, and preserve test samples
• Receive and record submitted samples
• Prepare laboratory reagents
• Document and receive samples for analysis
• Dispose laboratory waste in an appropriate manner
• Stock take & record laboratory/workshop inventories
• Assist in setting up routine experiments
• Assist in setting up special needs equipment

Qualifications:

• Must have an Ordinary Diploma with at least a credit in Home Economics
• Relevant work experience is an added advantage
