Bank of Uganda invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for: Proof of Concept for Currency Processing Machines in Uganda with reference number BOU/SUPLS/25-26/0058/C.

Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information on this Bid Notice and inspect the bidding document online under the procurement tab on the Bank of Uganda website www.bou.org.uk.

The bidding document shall be issued to interested bidders upon payment of a non-refundable fee of UGX.100,000 or USD.30 through a Commercial Bank to the account below: Account: Other Income, Bank Name: Bank of Uganda, Account Number: 099405017, Please reference the Tender in the payment narration.

A Pre-bid Meeting shall be held on Friday, March 27, 2026, at 11:00am online. Bidders are requested to send an email to procurement@bou.org.uk for the meeting link.

The bidding document shall be issued to interested bidders by email upon submission of proof of payment to procurement@bou.org.uk. OR Bidders may download the bidding document from the Bank of Uganda website www.bou.org.uk and submit their bid with the proof of payment.

The deadline for submission of Proposals for Proof of Concept shall be at 11:00am EAT on April 16, 2026.
