Job Title: Boiler & Operations Engineer (Distillery Industry)

Location: Uganda

Salary: USD 1,000–1,200 per month + Benefits

Job Description

We are hiring a Boiler & Operations Engineer for a leading distillery company in Uganda. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in boiler operations, utilities, and production support within the distillery, alcohol, or process manufacturing industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate, monitor, and maintain industrial boilers safely and efficiently.
  • Ensure uninterrupted steam supply for production operations.
  • Monitor boiler performance and carry out routine inspections.
  • Coordinate preventive and breakdown maintenance activities.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and statutory regulations.
  • Maintain operational records, logs, and reports.
  • Support day-to-day distillery production and utility operations.
  • Coordinate with maintenance and production teams to optimize plant performance.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • 3–8 years of experience in boiler operations within the distillery, alcohol, ethanol, brewery, sugar, or other process manufacturing industries.
  • Knowledge of steam generation systems, utilities, and boiler maintenance.
  • Understanding of safety standards and boiler operating procedures.
  • Good troubleshooting and communication skills.
  • Willingness to relocate to Uganda.
