Description

NOVA Microfinance Limited is seeking a results-oriented and experienced Branch Manager to lead branch operations and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive branch sales, collections, portfolio quality, and profitability.
  • Manage and monitor the loan portfolio, PAR, and overdue accounts.
  • Lead, supervise, coach, and evaluate branch staff.
  • Ensure effective loan appraisal, disbursement, monitoring, and recovery.
  • Develop strategies for customer acquisition and business growth.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, controls, and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor branch performance, expenses, risks, and operational efficiency.
  • Prepare timely performance reports and implement corrective action where necessary.
  • Maintain strong customer relationships and ensure excellent service.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Microfinance, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in microfinance, banking, SACCO, or a related financial services environment.
  • Experience in credit, collections, portfolio management, sales, and team leadership.
  • Strong leadership, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • High integrity, accountability, and ability to work under pressure.
  • Knowledge of loan management systems and Microsoft Office is an added advantage.
