Mission Description

MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES DETAILS

Business Growth

  • Analyse and profile client accounts based on performance, value and potential and generate.
  • periodic reports.
  • Determine the crucial needs of key clients and ensure that they receive first-class customer care and service.
  • Develop a strategy for managing key accounts and ensure its implementation.
  • Conduct regular customer satisfaction surveys and make necessary improvements for key accounts.
  • Develop pricing structures for key clients.
  • Resolve disputes and maintain client relationships to promote client retention.
  • Conduct account reviews.
  • Analyse and adapt new strategies to react to changing business trends.
  • Conduct client visits based on target prospects.
  • Generate weekly sales reports and submit to management

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Operations, Customer Service, and Finance teams to ensure seamless, service delivery, and profitability.
  • Participate in internal planning meetings to align customer requirements with operational capabilities and trade-lane capacities.
  • Support the implementation of CRM systems by logging interactions and updating pipeline stages regularly.

Reporting & Performance Management

  • Prepare weekly and monthly reports on pipeline performance, conversion rates, and customer activity.
  • Ensure accurate CRM data entry and reporting to support visibility and management decision-making.
  • Track key metrics including TEU volumes, gross margin, and account retention.

Profile

EDUCATION

  • Minimum undergraduate level standard
  • A master's degree in marketing will be an added advantage
  • CIMA (added advantage)

EXPERIENCE

Preference 5 years of related sales working experience in Logistics/Freight Forwarding
