Role Overview
As a Business Development Officer, you will play a pivotal role in driving our growth by researching market conditions and gathering vital information to identify potential sales opportunities. You will be working closely with our General Manager and a dynamic team in a hybrid work environment, focusing on creating impactful marketing and advertising strategies that align with our mission.
Position Details

Key Responsibilities
1. Prepare comprehensive reports of findings, illustrating data graphically and translating complex data into clear written text.
2. Collect and analyze data on customer demographics, preferences, needs, and buying habits to identify potential markets.
3. Measure the effectiveness of marketing, advertising, and communication programs and strategies.
4. Forecast and track marketing and sales trends, analyzing collected data to inform business strategies.
5. Monitor industry statistics and stay updated with trends in trade literature.
6. Attend staff conferences to provide management with insights and proposals regarding product promotion, distribution, design, and pricing.
Requirements
Essential Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Development Studies or related fields.
- Experience: 1-2 years in a similar role.
- Skills: Critical thinking, social perceptiveness, learning strategies, coordination, and time management.
- Technical Knowledge: Proficient with Microsoft Word, workflow chart software, Android operating systems, network conferencing tools, and Canva for process mapping.
- Language Requirement: Proficiency in English.
Preferred Qualifications
Preferred Responsibilities
- Conduct research on consumer opinions and marketing strategies.
- Measure and assess customer and employee satisfaction.
- Devise and evaluate methods for data collection, such as surveys or questionnaires.
Preferred Skills
- Active learning, mathematics, and monitoring skills.
- Preferred Knowledge Areas
- Knowledge of computers and electronics, sociology, and anthropology.
