Design, Illustration, and Production of Health-related technical and health promotion/education materials

FH 360, an international non-profit organization dedicated to improving health and human development/EpiC Project invites qualified individuals or firms to submit Expressions of Interest for the design, illustration, and production of various technical and health promotion/education materials.

Scope of Work

The selected consultant/firm will be responsible for the following:

  1. Message Interpretation and Content Development

    • Review and clearly understand the key messages outlined in the National Guidelines and Technical Documents: e.g., the National MoH guidelines on Multiple First-line Therapies (MFT) for malaria.

    • Translate technical content into clear, engaging, and audience-friendly messaging.

  2. Concept Development and Illustration

    • Develop creative concepts and visual illustrations that effectively communicate the key messages.

    • Ensure illustrations are culturally appropriate, inclusive, and resonate with diverse populations across Uganda.

  3. Stakeholder Engagement and Validation

    • Present draft illustrations and concepts to the Technical Working Group (TWG) for review.

    • Incorporate feedback and secure approval of final concepts.

  4. Audience-Centered Design

    • Tailor illustrations and messaging to suit different target audiences, including health workers, community members, policymakers, and partners.

    • Ensure clarity and accessibility across varying literacy levels and regional contexts.

  5. Multi-Platform Adaptation

    • Adapt approved illustrations and messages for multiple dissemination platforms, including:

      • Television (animated or static visual formats)

      • Print media (posters, brochures, job aids, banners)

  6. Design and Production of Materials

    • Design and format all specifically related to the Multiple First-line Therapies (MFT) and Malaria Case management communication tools and materials in line with Ministry of Health branding guidelines.

    • Prepare print-ready and broadcast-ready files for production and dissemination.

Deliverables

  • Illustrated concepts and storyboards

  • TWG-approved visual materials

  • Platform-specific adaptations (TV, print, digital)

  • Final designed MFT tools and communication materials

Duration

The assignment is expected to be completed within a period of 21 days.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Proven experience in graphic design, visual communication, or multimedia production

  • Demonstrated experience developing health communication materials

  • Strong portfolio showcasing illustration and multi-platform design work

  • Experience working with government or development partners is an added advantage
